Purpose:
NextGen Voices (NGV) at SafeHouse Denver is a dynamic young professionals network dedicated to supporting survivors in reclaiming their right to a life free from domestic violence.
NextGen Voices at SafeHouse Denver is supported by Maddie Sutton, staff liaison.
Who We Are:
NGV at SafeHouse Denver is more than just a network—it's an opportunity to grow as a leader, build valuable skills, and make meaningful connections, all while supporting survivors of domestic violence. NGV is a platform that allows self-identified young professionals aged 21+ who are passionate about uplifting survivors to make a real difference through volunteer roles that focus on philanthropy, community engagement, and personal growth.
Goals:
- Raise Awareness: You will play a key role in increasing awareness about domestic violence and the vital services provided by SafeHouse Denver.
- Expand the Network's Reach: You will leverage the power of philanthropy to connect with like-minded professionals, broadening your network and opening doors to new opportunities.
- Annual Initiatives: You will bring fresh ideas to enhance key events at SafeHouse Denver, primarily Sampling for Hope (SFH) and Colorado Gives Day (CGD).
- As a member of NGV, you'll support survivors through SFH and CGD and have the chance to explore and lead additional projects that align with your interests.
The NextGen Voices program is currently being revamped to better empower and amplify the voices of tomorrow’s leaders. We’re excited to unveil new opportunities and enhanced offerings as we prepare to reopen applications in 2025. Stay tuned for updates and get ready to be part of the next generation of changemakers!
